Life w/o Daddy

Things are starting to wrap up for us here in Malaysia and as Thomas has already handed his job on and a terminal in Kaohsiung, Taiwan is closing and needs help, Thomas went up there to help out. He left us Feb. 22 and will be there for maybe 4-6 weeks depending on smoothly things go....

All I got to say is Thank goodness for Skype. After Aunt Nikki's visit, Sophie figured out the whole skype thing. That there is a person in the computer talking but that person is actually real. (If that made sense at all!) So we've been skyp-ing Thomas nearly everyday. Sophie looks for the computer and lights up as soon as she hears her Daddy's voice. She's started to speak in Sophie talk to him and giving him (well, the computer screen) kisses.

I haven't taken a picture of her actually talking to Thomas - note to self- but this one is right when he called and she heard his voice. The sparkle in her eyes is priceless....
